What is Spot?
Spot is the home of specialty coffee in the UAE and the GCC. It lists specialty cafés, coffee roasteries, green-bean suppliers and coffee equipment shops across all seven emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman on the way. Every place has its opening hours, photos, location on the map and notes from people who visited.
Beyond the map, Spot brings the coffee scene together in one app: guides for specific moments, like a café to work from or coffee late at night; cuppings, latte-art throwdowns, workshops and championships with tickets inside the app; specialty coffee jobs from the region's cafés and roasteries; and a shop where you can order beans and brewing gear from local roasters, delivered to your door.

Yes. The website and the Spot app are free on iPhone and Android. You only pay for what you buy: event tickets and orders from the Spot shop.
Which countries does Spot cover?
All seven emirates of the UAE today. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman are coming next.
Can I buy coffee beans on Spot?
Yes. The Spot shop sells specialty beans, grinders and brewing gear from local roasters and shops. You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and orders are delivered across the UAE.
How does a café or roastery get listed?
Owners claim their page for free through Spot for Business, add their menu, photos and beans, and can sell online, post jobs and host events. The Spot team checks every place before it goes live.
What is specialty coffee?
Coffee that scores 80 points or more out of 100 when graded by a certified taster. It is usually traceable to a single farm or region and roasted to bring out its own flavours, from fruity Ethiopian coffees to chocolatey Brazilian ones.
Where can I find coffee events in Dubai?
Spot lists the region's cuppings, latte-art throwdowns, workshops, exhibitions and championships, with dates, venues and tickets. Browse them on the Events page or in the app.
